Do Covergirl and Maybelline still test on animals?

I heard they used to, but they stopped.

I have also called both companies and they said they didn't.

Is it true? Have they stopped?Do Covergirl and Maybelline still test on animals?
they may not be testing the actual products anymore, so they are allowed to say that they are ';cruelty free';. but, they probably still test ingredeints on animals. until they get there names on PETA's cruelty free list, i'm not gong to believe it. it would make my life a lot easier if they stopped though, they have some cheap, but good, products.

as far as drugstore brands go, i stick with almay, revlon, NYX, and physician's formula.

they are all true ';cruelty free'; brands. i am very into the whole cruelty free thing, it can be a pain, but i feel like i'm doing something good. :)Do Covergirl and Maybelline still test on animals?
