Wat is the best covergirl makeup for oily skin and acne cover up?

I want a very natural lookWat is the best covergirl makeup for oily skin and acne cover up?
The problem with applying makeup on oily skin is that the oil collects on the skin and gives it a shiny coating. The makeup may also look patchy and may not last too long.

If you have oily skin, wear as little makeup as possible. If you try to cake on the makeup, it will look blotchy and patchy as the day wears on and the viscous oil changes the appearance of your foundation.

Following tips help you look and feel better:

Have a rigid and good skincare routine. Cleanse, moisturize and tone as a ritual. Use a good cleanser that opens up all your oil and grime clogged pores. Do not overcleanse to get rid of your oil since the skin will simply produce more. If you scrub too much, then also the skin is urged to produce more oil. Even oily skin needs hydrating moisturizer. However, if the moisturizer is inducing worse oily conditions, look for silicon based primers that increase the wearing properties of foundations and prevent its discoloration as well. Some matte foundations are designed to last long too. You can also touch up with blotting powder to reduce the shine.

You can also use concealers to reduce the amount of foundation you need for coverage. Do not apply the concealer instead of foundation. Use it judiciously to cover the areas that need covering. Blend, apply foundation and then set the base with an oil absorbing powder.

Use one shade lighter foundation to cover up the darkening caused by the oil.

Use blotting paper and touchup during the day to pick up the excess oil.

Stay away from shiny and shimmery makeup to play down the shiny effect of the oil. You could use shimmer on the lips to distract from other features. Keep cheek color soft and natural.

Other Tips:

Ensure that your diet is healthy and check with a dietician that you are consuming a diet that helps control your condition.

Consult a physician for your skin condition. Some conditions are treatable and you might be the lucky one.

Drink lots of water, exercise and use makeup to highlight your best features.

Use cosmetics specifically designed for oily skin.

Sometimes, using an antiseptic cream before applying makeup keeps the sebaceous secretions under control.

Use powder blush rather than cream blush.

Use plenty of loose powder to keep the face looking fresh rather than oil caked.

Wash your face with cold water several times a day.

Apply astringent on clean face, wait for a few minutes and then apply makeup. Astringent helps close pores.

A blend of rose water and ice water used on the face 2-3 times a day also helps control oiliness.Wat is the best covergirl makeup for oily skin and acne cover up?
Hey I know it's not Covergirl but I had acne and I found this to be amazing: L'Oreal Paris Bare Naturale Powdered Mineral Foundation (it has SPF too). It gave a smooth cover up and looked flawless. I don't know, it's a little bit pricey though, but it's better than having your face oily all day. Also, try to rub your face with toilet seat covers when you're out, it gets rid out oil and is free, unlike those ';blotting sheets'; that are also ridiculously overpriced.
I had the same problem so what I have been doing since I was about 23 was putting any foundation that I used (really any) but only using 1/2 of what I would normally use and then putting clean and clear face moisterizer on the sponge as well. Not only does it look natural but my make up stays longer and it doesnt cause more break outs. I highly recomend this to anyone with oily or acne problems.
Ooo never cover up your acne or use any type of foundation, etc. Use Neutrogena to get rid of the acne, it worked for me. Even if you have a few blemishes your face looks prettier natural than having all that war paint ; p

For the oily skin use those little towelettes from I think Cover Girl, you will have to use them a few times the oil will eventually show up again no matter what.
If you're willing to try other products than covergirl, try BareMinerals, I have oily skin too and that stuff is amazing. I try to stay away from liquid foundations because of the oil in my skin doesnt mix with with the oil in the foundation...
Instead of trying to cover it up, which will tend to make you're skin even nastier, why not just wash your face better and get rid of the acne? Then you won't need cover-up.
Go to covergirl.com and it tells you what makeup is best for oily, dry, and combo skin.

i already have a natural look so i dont have a problem... but i thought about helping, and its the thought that counts! right?
using coverup only makes your acne alot worse. i went through that . just be natural nd dont use coverup. not using it will clear up your acne nd ur skin will not be so oily.
TruBlend. The stuff that comes in the little round container. Then use TruBlend powder after if you have really oily skin
instead of using makeup 2 cover up ur acne, try 2 get rid of it bcuz just putting on makeup is not gonna help it go away
You are better off with no makeup at all if you have oily skin and acne. It will only make matters worse.
i wouldn't use covergirl they test on amimals =(
covergirl tru blend
alvioli
a dab of bumpfighter a day will keep the grease away
